Hi Felix,

Thanks for a great application & the excellent support & updates.

I'm running the atv4Mac on a Tiger partition.

Remote Buddy works fine via Manta TR1 receiver & can control Front Row.

On installation, atv4Mac replaces Front Row & runs fine but only via wired Keyboard.

No control via my Apple Remote.

Can anyone offer a suggestion to obtain control via the remote.

Cheers,

Roger

You may want to try using Remote Buddy's Virtual Remote or Virtual
Keyboard Behaviour.

Or you could most likely simply use actions from these Behaviours to
build your own Behaviour in the Behaviour Construction Kit.

Thanks for the advice Felix.

I tried virtual remote & virtual keyboard, then watched your excellent video & tried the behaviour construction kit.

No success unfortunately.

I am running OSX86 (10.4.9) and ATV4Mac so perhaps it's not surprising.

The ATV4Mac installer replaces Front Row App with ATV emulator.

Before I install ATV4Mac, Front Row & RB works fine.

After I install & launch ATV4MAC no RB actions produce any response in the ATV.

I can use the bundled ATV4Mac keyboard remote emulator, with a wired keyboard it works fine. With a wireless USB keyboard the ATV cursor responds but moves too fast!

I hate to give up as success seems close but my lack of knowledge forces me to ask for help.

Any other suggestion welcome,

Cheers,

Roger

I've never looked at atv4mac, but if the mentioned keyboard emulator
does what I think it does, the solution to get things to cooperate
with one another is most likely to remove the atv4mac keyboard
emulator (and any kernel extensions that it may have installed) from
the system and reboot.

The Keyboard Emulator isn't installed by default.

I've installed it afterwards i tried the BehaviourConstructionKit.

So removing the Emulator can't be the soloution...

Also tried installing SofaControl and Mira... Same story. atv4mac can be started but then there's no more response on the Remote buttons...
