I'm new at this itouch remote buddy thing. I have an itouch specifically for the remote buddy to create a movie controller that is better for my parents to use.
The movie application of course doesn't have a "quick" way to go to the controller if you have a large page of many movies. Of course you can tap the top of the web page on the itouch and that will take you to the top of the page. The Launcher and remote control buttons are locked at the top of the page and of course scroll away, so I can select a movie go to the top of the page and then select the button to go to the remote control.
What I've found as a workaround to this is to launch two windows in the browser so there are two pages. This allows me to run remote buddy linking to AJAX twice and the controller can be on one page and the web page directory for the "movie app" can be on the other page. This allows me to chose the page with the movie app, select the movie, and then slide the controller over by paging over to the second Remote buddy Ajax page. Having two AJAX sessions gives a lot of flexibility and it's easy to just select the page you want. (Taking this a bit further, what about many pages?)
This brings a possible configuration or solution that might occur for large libraries that could be a partial answer to my question posted earlier.
I might create 3 or more libraries, each inside a different directory and have more than one instance of the movie application running (if that is possible) on different pages. I'm not sure if this is possible, it's just a thought.
I have the mac at home as it's a mac mini and my laptop needs to have it's OS upgraded to work with RB. I'll put out a post if I find this to be a type of solution.
Basically this is just a post to state I've found multiple windows running more than one session seems to be a good thing with Remote buddy.
