How about adding a shut down timer???
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I was thinking that it would be a very convenient feature to add a shut down timer to the remote buddy application. Of course one can use another application for that, but it would be much more convenient to be build in remote buddy, so you don't have to leave your sofa or whatever. Think about. I believe that it would be a very nice addition to an overall practical program.

Thank you very much. I have something else to add. I think it would be a good idea to add a force shutdown option in the timer. Sometimes, some applications won't quit and the computer just won't shut down.

That would not work, since Remote Buddy will be terminated before any
of these other apps.

In general, you can force shutdown your computer via the remote,
though. Search for "shutdown -h" in the normal RB forum to find the
respective discussion and an AppleScript snippet that's ready to use.

Yes, I didn't thought of that. Thank you.
