eyetv is MISSING

eyetv is missing from my applications on remote buddy and does not appear in prefernces. any ideas? i'm on an intel mac mini. any way i can add this application back to the remote buddy menu?

Do you run EyeTV or EyeTV Lite?

Which version of EyeTV are you running?

Where do you have it installed?

Where in the preferences does it not turn up? Under "Menu" or 
"Behaviours"?

Nevermind! disregard! i reinstalled eyetv fresh after deleting all old vestiges of it and there it is on remote buddy when i restarted my computer. i'll see if this remains permanent lol. thanks so much for ur time!

hi thanks very much for ur response. I'm running eyetv 3.0. it's installed on my hard disk in the applications folder. it does not show up under menu or behaviors.

Thanks for the info.

Chances are very high then, that OS X Launch Services - which Remote 
Buddy uses to auto-detect apps - did not add EyeTV to its database, 
which is (normally) happening automatically as soon as you add a new 
app to your computer.

Solution: 
1) Download LSRefresh from this site's blog. 
2) Run it and select your copy of EyeTV.app in your Applications folder 
3) Restart Remote Buddy (for efficiency reasons, auto-detection only 
runs at application startup time).
