AJAX remote, camera and mac mini

Hello. I noticed that it is possible to stream video from an isight using the AJAX remote. I was wondering if that would work with a mac mini and a normal USB webcam, or does it require an isight ?

Thanks,

Nat

Thanks for asking.

Remote Buddy uses QuickTime to capture the video frames. Therefore,
any camera that you can use with iChat or iMovie should also work with
AJAX Remote.

If you purchase a webcam especially for that purpose, though, please
make sure you're able to return it back to the vendor in case it's not
compatible.

Best regards,
Felix Schwarz
