Strange problem
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I have remote buddy running on a iMac G5 that has no remote of its own. The system runs Mac OSX 10.5.4. I have a keyspan infrared receiver and use a Apple Remote to control FrontRow. I have the menu key setup so that a long menu press activates FrontRow. This a global mapping. This has been working great for over 12 months. Since the last update sometimes when I do a long menu press the system displays a graphic which zzz and the the system goes to sleep. I have checked the mapping and nothing has changed. If I restart remote buddy all is ok but after some period which seems to be random a long key press sends the system to sleep. Any help would be most appreciated.

Please send a system profile and screenshots of the settings (=> Prefs

screenshots can be taken via i.e. Apple + Shift + 4) to the info

Thanks in advance.
