USB-uirt and ribsu ( OSX), sending IR commands from RB
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I have a USB-uirt(out/in, Rx/Tx) which I have used with Windows and Girder. And it works perfectly there.

But on OSX there is only "ribsu", a small utility for terminal, to use USB-UIRT with.

Anyone have tips on how to :

start terminal:
start ribsu:
sending code to ribsu

and all in background.

Possibly it can be all done in Applescript, but currently I have no time for coding, only nappies and porridge ;)

Any clues?

Thanks for asking.

Please take a look at

AppleScript.
