Trying the demo with my EyeTV receiver and remote
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi,
Ive upgraded EyeTV to version 2.5.3 and installed your demo version. Its not clear to me how to get your software to work.
I see one page on your site saying that I need to run EyeTV and Remote Buddy at the same time, which I have done. But at no point does Remote Buddy 'see' my remote. What do I need to do to register it?

Thanks

Thanks for asking.

If your receiver is supported, your remote will automatically appear
in Remote Buddy as soon as you press a button on it for the first time.

You can find an up-to-date list of currently expressly unsupported
receiver models on the "EyeTV Remote" subpage of the Remote Buddy
website.

*Currently* this list includes the EyeTV 250, 250 Plus, 300/310,
400/410, 500, 610 and EZ.

Support for additional models (including models from that list) is
currently being worked on.

Best regards,

Question.

Do you all have any timeline as to when this feature may be released to the world?

Is there any way to get on an announce list or (even better) a beta test for this feature?

I am really interested in the software but having support for the 250+ is kind of a deal breaker.

Thanks.
