Remote Buddy can only send commands to XBMC, but it can't receive back
any status information from XBMC due to the lack of an interface for
that on XBMC's side.
OS X applications can claim exclusive access to a display. In that
case, no other application can display its windows on that screen. If
you can't see Remote Buddy on top of XBMC's interface, please file a
bug report with the XBMC team so they can address the issue or offer
an option so that XBMC doesn't claim exclusive access to a display.
This can't be addressed from Remote Buddy's side.
