Hello Stefan,

thanks for letting me know. Is your PowerBook G4 one of the last
revision(s?) that support safe sleep by any chance?

Since safe sleep is nothing else than writing memory contents to disk
and power off, any setup the driver inside RB has done to that point
no longer has effect since the USB hardware has effectively been
powered off and on again. I'll try tro reproduce this with my MB Pro
and see what can be done.
