This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.

The query is triggered regardless of whether DVD Player or VLC are
installed (which - actually - is a bug I fixed right away. It
shouldn't matter, though, as normally DVD Player is installed on all
systems).

You'll have to remove vlc.rbbehaviour and dvdplayer.rbbehaviour from
Remote Buddy's app bundle to deactivate the Spotlight integration.
