Hi there,

one of the unique features of Remote Buddy is the ability to emulate
a full-fledged Apple Remote - on any Mac.

So, what you want is perfectly possible. Just attach the respective
"Virtual Remote" actions to their button counterparts in Prefs >
Hardware > Apple Remote. You can find more info on how to do this in
the feature linked to at the bottom of the Remote Buddy website main/
overview page.
