This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
There are a lot of cyrillic letters in different languages (you can see them all on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Cyrillic_letters). 
It is not the best way to add them all, as some of them can not be first in words, some are rare. So it will be the best solution to index songs or add some preferencies (may be without GUI) to edit set of letters in this menus. 
Also as you can see some of letters are similar to latin, but not all of them. There is way to translate cyrillic to latin symbols, but not always one-to-one (this is called transliteration (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanization_of_Belarusian for example)) 
Elso I've just found that all tracks, that start with non-latin letters apear in 0-9 section
