Thanks for the information and suggestions.

I did try what you suggested. Sadly my problem actually got worse and repeatedly locked up iTunes. :(

As you directed, I tried playing something from a normal playlist from the phone. No go.

So I then started a song playing from my computer, then accessed it from the iPhone.

In both situations iTunes itself locked up and my iPhone sat there.

So I am going to clear out Remote Buddy and try reinstalling and see what that does for me.
