This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.

I replaced the battery. Things are much more responsive now, though it still seems to miss clicks occasionally or require a double click to get it to respond. This is still an improvement. Instead of every action requiring two clicks, now it's maybe one in twenty...
