Re: Good news (was: Sony BD Battery Life?)

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Sounds great, Felix!

I decided to pair one my Wiimotes yesterday after I found out I had no more AA batteries for my Sony BD remote. Works great.

The Wiimote seems to work with disabling after 5 minutes? I get a message on the screen after 5 minutes - "Saving energy, disconnected" and I have to press 1+2 togehter on the Wiimote to connect again.

So does the Wiimote use some other BT-protocol to manage this, or is it the Wiimote itself that powers down after 5 minutes?

Either way, I found it quite annoying to have the messages on the screen, and also disturibing to have to re-activate the Wiimote everytime it was "sleeping" by pushing 1+2 and waiting while the remote re-discovers my Mac Mini.

Is this the behaviour I can expect when the Sony BD sleep works?
