Thanks for asking.

A lot has happened since then. OS X 10.5.6 (IIRC) included a Bluetooth
stack update, which hinders Remote Buddy from connecting to the Sony
BD Remote itself. Remote Buddy, since then, has to go through OS X to
support the BD Remote. Due to this, I currently see no way for RB to
get access to the battery level data.

But this is still on my radar and if I find a way to get access to it,
it'll also be supported by RB.
