Not only am I the only account on my mac, I posess admin rights as well.
(In case it matters: I migrated from Time Machine and deleted the account created during Lion install afterwards)

Oh... that's said. Only a virtual remote is listed within "Hardware", no EyeTV reveicer appears. :/
