From the supported hardware page (http://www.iospirit.com/products/remotebuddy/hardware/#eyetvreceivers):

"* The Apple® Remote (Aluminium) can be used. With this receiver type, the seperate Select- and Play/Pause-buttons can't be mapped independantly, though."
