Remote Buddy is designed to allow you to control more than one application. With default settings, when you press the Menu button on your Apple Remote, it'll open a menu from which you can control the currently active application (please see the Remote Buddy website for a list of applications supported out of the box) or - by pressing the "left" button and going up one level in the menu's hierarchy - select another application to launch/change to and control.
