Only one application at a time can receive button presses from the Apple Remote. If you have opened another application that uses the Apple Remote before launching Remote Buddy, Remote Buddy will typically not get access to the Apple Remote button presses.

By installing Remote Buddy’s driver (Candelair), however, you can get around this problem. With it, RB always gets direct access to the AR button presses as soon as it runs.
