Re: Kernel panic in El Capitan safe mode

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Thanks for your feedback and the panic log you sent me, which helped me in finding and fixing the cause of the issue.

It's triggered by a new bug introduced in OS X 10.11 that only occurs when booting in Safe Mode. Regular booting does not seem affected by it.

After a full day of working on this issue and thoroughly testing it on several devices across many OS X releases, I've uploaded a new build of Remote Buddy with a version of the kernel extension that no longer panics when booting in safe mode.

You can now get it under https://www.iospirit.com/products/remotebuddy/download/

Remote Buddy will ask you if you want to update / install version 1.27 of the driver.

If you get a chance to try it on your machine, I'd be very interested in your results.

Thanks!
Felix
