Hello Nicolai,

thanks for your input.

Remote Buddy uses Core Foundation to make its connection to the
update server (it polls a property list XML file with information on
the latest version available - CF makes it very easy to load and
decode it all in a few lines).

Do you go through a proxy or something similiar for webbrowsing?
