I don't think so. Right now, you can always press the menu button and 
see a legend of what button is doing what.

Also, you get access to all additional options and actions available 
for the application you are currently controling immediately.

And there's more to come ;-)

You can get straight to the top level of the menu by keeping the left 
button pressed, btw.

So it's one button press to get to the top level, but it would be - 
depending on where the behaviour is located in your menu 
configuration - a lot more presses (and tiresome if you do it more 
oftenly) to get to the active behaviour's menu.

These thoughts have made me implement the menu as it is :-)
