SDK suggestion

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi,

since some days I'm playing with RB and I'm amazed by the features of this software.

I played a little bit with the SDK I've a suggestion:

It would be very nice to have the possibility to customize the behaviour UI with custom made functions.

The possibility to add items, menus and subitems should be enough.

Is there an updated SDK in the ToDo or you are waiting for a 1.0 release?

BTW, I can't post to the developer forum... :-/

Hello Davide,

thanks for sharing. At least I do now know why nobody ever posted
there - it's a permission problem ;-)

All of what you are asking for will be available with the next
incarnation of the SDK. Keep in mind that everything in the iTunes
Behaviour is *external* to Remote Buddy and encapsulated in
Tunes.rbbehaviour. That includes all custom UI elements, the config
pane, music browser and so on.

I do want to add some more polish to the APIs, though, as I want them
to stay stable and easily expandable. I hope to release an updated
SDK soon, though.

Best regards,
Felix
