hello

i was wondering if it was possible to use imovie with the remote, i just want to use the isight camera to record video by using the remote, when i am like away from my macbook.

Hello Heri,

thanks for sharing the idea.

I've looked into it and did not find a way to reliably implement that 
feature. iMovie HD does not seem to support AppleScript and I know no 
keyboard shortcut to start / stop the recording.

But there still is a way for what you want to do: place the mouse 
cursor over the record button in iMovie, then select the Virtual 
Mouse in Remote Buddy and you can start and stop recording with the 
remote. Not perfect, but it works and should do the job.

Hi,

Try creating a behaviour with 'space' as the keystroke. 
It works for me with my iSight, and Cannon Z80. 
It simply toggles between Record/Pause.
