I have a 8 channel external sound card and when I change the volume with Remote Buddy it changes only the volume of the first and second channel the others stay as they are.

If I change the volume with the volume keys of my Macbook Pro it changes the volume of all 8 channel.

Is there a quick fix for this issue?

Right now, there is no quick fix for this issue I'd know of. I've 
added it to the ToDo/Fix list, though.

What's the external device you are using, btw? And is it the default 
output in System Preferences?

Currently, Remote Buddy is using AppleScript to regulate system 
volume. The plan now is to use Sound APIs for this directly.
