Behaviours for EyeTV
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I've just bought EyeTV, but I don't seem to be able to find the relevant behaviours to control EyeTV with Remote Buddy on a Keyspan Front Row RF remote. Must these behaviours be downloaded or somehow activated?

Thanks

Hello Eduardo,

thanks for asking. The EyeTV Behaviour is actually part of Remote
Buddy itself.

The only thing that springs to mind is that you started Remote Buddy
before installing EyeTV. Remote Buddy does - for the sake of
efficiency and saving resources - only look for supported
applications at start time. So, in other words: try to restart Remote
Buddy. You should then see an EyeTV Behaviour in your Audio & Video
category - and when pressing the Menu button while EyeTV is active.

Sidenote for everybody else:
Sorry, if I seem a bit slow with answering right now. I'm working on
a completely rewritten online store for the website - and that's a
pretty complex beast of its own (the requirements for it are "a bit"
higher than for a normal webstore - all of IOSPIRIT's infrastructure
is 100% homegrown and tightly integrated with one another). I'll
catch up with replies and the bugfix update as soon as I have the new
store finished.

Best regards,
Felix

Thank you, Felix. You are absolutely right! By restarting Remote Buddy, if the TV USB stick is plugged in after the start of Mac OS X, it can indeed control eyetv. Thank you very much for a wonderful product.

Best regards.
