Adding behaviors to a non listed App. How?
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hello Felix,

I'm using Remote Buddy with may Home Video Server Mac mini, and I would like to shade may menu (Menu Shade) and hide the desktop Icons (camouflage) with the remote using a Hotkey. How can I accomplish that?

Thanks,

Quirilio Vilorio III

Hello Quirilio,

thanks for asking.

If you are looking for a way to create a new action that emulates a
key press and add that to an existing Behaviour (please tell me, if
you meant something else):

1) Select "Custom actions…" in Preferences > Behaviours >
_Behaviour_You_Want_To_Add_An_Action_To_ > Mappings.

2) Remote Buddy has already precreated an action for you. You only
need to enter the key combination you want to emulate and you're
done. You can also name your new action, but it's not a must.

Best regards,
Felix
