Hi Felix,

It seems there is bug. When ever I launch itunes from DVDpedia, Remote buddy freezes and itunes shows a warning: "Itunes needs a library to continue. You may choose an existing iTunes library or create a new one." This doesn't happens if iTunes is already open. Hope you can fix the bug,

Hello Quirilio,

thanks for the feedback.

Regarding the Remote Buddy freeze:
As soon as iTunes shows a modal requester or you enter its
Preferences, it will stop to respond to AppleScript commands until you
dismiss these. So, exiting from that dialog should also "unfreeze"
Remote Buddy, as iTunes and AppleScript should returns control to it.
Should, because I'm unsure what happens if you quit from iTunes rather
than starting it up.

Regarding the issue as such:
iTunes will bring up this dialog when Alt is pressed while iTunes is
launching. How do you launch iTunes through DVDpedia? Or: what makes
iTunes launch through DVDpedia?

Best regards,
Felix

Thanks Felix for you fast response. The problem still persists, let me recreate for you: I'm in DVDpedia (full screen mode) then I press play (Alt+P) then DVD Player shows up playing the movie, I press pause then go with the remote buddy and activate itunes which is closed, there the choose library warning comes up, freezing Remote Buddy. However if iTunes is already open, this doesn't happen. Hope you can help me address this annoying situation, because I have to force quit remote buddy everytime this happens.

do you experience this problem on Tiger or on Leopard - and with which
version of DVDpedia does it occur?
