Hi i'm missing the behaviour for Audio Hijack. On Remote Buddy Webpage I see that Audio Hijack is supported. But where is the behaviour? Robert

Hello Robert,

if you freshly installed Audio Hijack while Remote Buddy was running:
please relaunch Remote Buddy.

if you had Audio Hijack installed before you launched Remote Buddy:
please make sure AH was launched at least once and that it resides on
a volume that is mounted at Remote Buddy start time.

if that does not lead you to the solution, either: please use
LSRefresh (from the Blog) to update your Launch Services Database
record for that application, then (re)launch Remote Buddy.

All Remote Buddy Behaviours use the OS X Launch Services for automatic
app detection. So, if an app is not listed in the LS Database, Remote
Buddy will not load the associated Behaviour.

Best regards,
Felix

Hi Felix,

yes I installed (and first start) of Audio Hijack Pro was while Remote buddy was running. I restarted Remote Buddy, reinstalled RB 1.1 and ran LSRefreh but nothing helped! AH is version 2.7.3.

For the moment I created my own bevahiour.

Hi Robert,

thanks for the feedback.

I'd be interested to have a look at your Behaviour to see where it
differs. Could you send me a zipped version (Behaviours are basically
folders, so Mail doesn't always handle direct drag and drop of them
correctly) to i n f o _(a)_ i o s p i r i t _(.)_ c o m?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Felix

Hi,

I am having exactly the same problem - Audio Hijack Pro is not a recognised application and is not showing up in the list of behaviours.

I don't want to create a behaviour. Is there anyway I can just force RemoteBuddy to include the behaviour?

Thanks for all your help, this is very frustrating for an otherwise fantastic product!

Thanks,
David

it doesn't seems that there is another way! The included behaviour is for Hijack (not pro). Hijack and Hijack pro are different. So you have to make a new behaviour.
