Wiiremote already paired with Wii

Hello,
I have a Wii with 2 remotes already paired with the console.
I tried pairing them with remote buddy but no matter how long i press the 1+2 buttons the software didn't seem to find the remotes... any way to fix this?

Thanks.

Hi there,

pressing 1 + 2 alone will not lead to pairing with Remote Buddy.
Please make use of the Remote Buddy Setup Wizard (item "Setup Wizard"
in the pull down menu) for the first pairing.

Best regards,
Felix

Well my two remore are already paired with my Wii.. so is there anything I can do to unpair one of the remotes?

There must be a way.. otherwise your controls would become useless if your Wii dies, for example.

You can pair a Wii Remote with multiple computers/Wiis, so there
shouldn't be any problem. If your remote continues to pair with your
console rather than your computer, you may want to temporarily switch
off the gaming console, though.
