Switch sound outputs

Hey I have a question regarding adding a action in Remote Buddy. I have a Keyspan Front Row RF Remote and I also have a set of USB speakers attached to my MacBook Pro. I am always having to go to the Sound pane in System Preferences to switch the sound output between the USB speakers and my laptop speakers (or usually the headphone jack).

I was wondering if theres a way to map one of the buttons on the remote (I was probably going to hold the mute button or something) to switch between sound outputs? Or is there a way to at least map the sound pane of System Preferences so that it opens to that window when I hold the mute button?

Hello Benjamin,

thanks for asking.

For the time being, I don't know of an off-the-shelf way to switch
between speakers.

You can, however, open System Preferences directly in a specific pane
by adding f.ex.

/System/Library/PreferencePanes/Sound.prefPane

to Remote Buddy's menu via drag and drop from the Finder, then later
choose that item from the menu.

Best regards,
