Creating nested menus from applescript
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I've been putting together a Behaviour set for 'The Tube' DVR. I've created an applescript to get a list of available channels, pass this to RB to display a menu, from which the selection will switch The Tube to the desired channel, but a cleaner way of doing this would be to have that list nested within a hierarchical menu which also displays other functions so I can get the EPG (electronic program guide) info etc. all into one neat little RB menu. Is this possible? Am I missing something?

Thanks for asking.

You can use Remote Buddy's AppleScript support to show hierarchical
menus. by passing arrays (or "lists" in Applescript lingo) to it. You
can find an example on how to do this in Remote Buddy's AppleScript
dictionary.

Hope that helps.

Hello,

I'd like also to control the tube with remote buddy.
I've found a link in this forum to your apple script but the link is dead.
Could you share your link again?

Thanks thanks a lot, I know it's a lot of work
