"This would require a menu shortcut whereas Remote Buddy is often used
in a menu-less ("dockless") mode"
I understand that RB is usually used in dockless mode, but there is a menu bar, and there is a "Window" menu, so that shouldn't be a problem...
"It'd also make it impossible to
directly enter Cmd+W in shortcut fields."
Maybe... but why is this not an issue with Cmd-Q? RB has a Cmd-Q in the menu bar, and it doesn't affect shortcut fields when active. Couldn't the same thing be done for Cmd-W?
Please consider it, this would be a great functionality, to make RB more OSX-compliant, I'd love being able to close windows easily with cmd-W. Thanks!
