[OffTopic] Volume Auto-Level?
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi everyone!

I'm sure you might have encountered this problem at least once. Every application sort of has a different volume and beside that even every "source file" might have a different volume.

So, if you play the same file using VLC or Quicktime, it is somewhat likely that VLC will be way louder than Quicktime.

Or if you just watched TV using EyeTV, your eardrums might blast if you use VLC to play another episode of your favourite TV series.

So... is there a software that is able to monitor sound output and level it automatically? Anyone ever heard of something like that?

Bye
