Feature request - Enable On/Off
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi;

I understand the logic for not enabling the power / on / off button with regards to the device not being available if the power was off, but I would like to map it to turn off my other A/V devices such as my amp, Cable Box etc.

Would it be possible to re-enable the on/off button so that it can be mapped to switch on / off other devices ??

Many Thanks

P

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question.

What power/on/off button? On which remote? In which context? What do
you want to achieve? Through which action?

Best regards,

Hi Sorry for not making it clear:

I would like to be able to map the Power Button on the Wii to a custom behavior in order to power up and power off an external piece of equipment, however the power button is not available in RB to be mapped.

Thanks

Thanks for the additional info.

The Wii Remote only sends data for its "normal" buttons, but doesn't
send any data for the power button and the small, red reset button
located under the battery cover. Its press therefore can't be
detected. It appears to be tied in hardware to directly close the
Bluetooth connection and power off the remote's hardware.

Best regards,
