Use eyetv ir sensor to capture signals from other remotes.

Hello,

I have an eyetv diversity.
Can remote buddy intercept the remote signals from normal remotes via the diversity's ir sensor?

As my topfield died, but has a much nicer remote control than the eyetv one, and has lots more functions (with labels). If the eyetv could pick up its ir signals and these be mapped to various functions of the mac mini via Remote Buddy, then it would save me having to fork out loads on a bluetooth remote.

Cheers

Thanks for asking.

Remote Buddy only gets fully recognized IR signals from EyeTV. It has
no access to the raw IR stream that would be needed for recording. So
I'm afraid what you'd like to do is not possible.
