I would like to boot the 64-bit kernal in Snow Leopard. Will Remote Buddy be updated to run on the 64-bit kernal?

Thanks for asking.

A 64 Bit version of the driver is already completed for months. Due to
the NDA on Snow Leopard, however, it wasn't included with release
versions of Remote Buddy yet. Now that Snow Leopard is broadly
available, it will be released shortly, in the course of the coming
week.

Since all Macs (except Xserve) boot the Snow Leopard 32 Bit kernel by
default, though, version 1.14 already works fine under an out-of-the-
box Snow Leopard.

When I start remote buddy it says I need to download the driver. After I download the driver it still says I need to download the driver.

Please make sure you are running Remote Buddy 1.14.

If you already do that, what's the output of

uname -a

in Terminal.app?

I am having the same issue. When I proceed with the update, it restarts Remote Buddy and then asks to update the same update again. Sometimes it just shuts down and doest restart.

I entered that line in Terminal and below is the result. Please advise.

Darwin Shirazs-Home-iMac.local 10.0.0 Darwin Kernel Version 10.0.0: Fri Jul 31 22:47:34 PDT 2009; root:xnu-1456.1.25~1/RELEASE_I386 i386

In that case, please manually perform the update (which is basically
download Remote Buddy in your browser, quit any running copy, replace
your old copy with the downloaded one).
