Skype?
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
When I am watching movie in Plex, I receive call through Skype.
How can I with Remote Buddy switch to Skype from Plex and accept call?

(I don't see Skype in menu, though it's quite common application even on OS X ...)

Thanks for asking.

Skype is currently not directly supported by Remote Buddy.

You could either switch to Virtual Mouse and use it to click on the "Accept call" button. Alternatively, you could create a custom action containing AppleScript code to instruct Skype to accept the incoming call.

Hi there,

I just wrote a small Applescript for use in Remote Buddy to Accept an incoming call and another to call a contact.
Here they are :

at the bottom of the page.
I can also use these scripts as Speakable Items to accept the call or dial with voice commands.
Very convenient !

Regards,

Christophe

P.S. Direct support of Skype with Remote Buddy would be a great feature though.

Great, thank you.

It really works although it was little tricky with Behaviour Construction Kit ...

What is still annoying is, Skype now wants to confirm 3rd party script every time Skype starts - it would be nice to fix it, but maybe this is not the right forum.

Any way, thank you. :)
