Is it possible to view content on iphone while imac with password screensaver active?

On a PC you would have your monitor switched off and accesss content remotely, is this possible withan imac?

Thanks for asking.

You won't be able to view your desktop content, because the password screensaver will be in front of it.

You will, however, be able to remotely access ("stream") your iTunes media and control most of iTunes' functions using AJAX Remote nonetheless.
