when I use eyeTV remotebuddy and eyeTV is responding, but only ioRemote should.
Is it possible to deactivate the control in eyeTV, so that only ioRemote responds. (I can control eyeTV through ioRemote).

Sorry I worte that a bit wrong. With ioRemote I mean the software Remote Buddy von IOSpirit.
The problem is that both softwares (eyeTV and Remote Buddy) regonize the commands from the remote control.
But only RemoteBuddy should. I'd like control eyeTV only with Remote Buddy.

Next Time you should write your Question in English and German. ;)

I have the same Problem. I'm using an EyeTV SAT and RemoteBuddy. If I want to use my Apple Remote for EyeTV (with RemoteBuddy) both Hardware recognize the IR-Signal (EyeTV and MacBook Pro). The EyeTV Remote is crap so I want to use only the internal MacBook Pro IR Receiver. I solved the Problem with Duct Tape -> See Photo here: http://yfrog.com/mjlinrj

Anyway, I think iospirit is not responsible for EyeTV Problems, so you should start a Ticket at http://www.elgato.de

the hardware recever is ok. remote buddy gets the command through the eye-TV-hardware.
the eye-tv software should not process the commands directly.

i've open a thread in the eyeTV forum.

Which version of EyeTV is everybody here using?

At Prefs > Hardware, is there a green or a red dot in front of the "Apple Remote" that's below "EyeTV Receiver"?
