Hulu Desktop Left and Right (HOLD) Functions
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I know there is an issue with the bring to front and having to use the virtual mouse to select the window before input will work but I am curious how to get the right and left (hold) functions allow you to navigate to different parts of videos like you can without RB enabled. Any ideas are appreciated!

I mapped the left and right keyboard keys to the hold function with multiple presses between press and release to solve this issue.

I know that the initial click to bring Hulu desktop to the front is a work around but has anyone else found a better way?

My workaround for the left click/focus issue with Hulu desktop was to go into RB settings, mappings, the under the Hulu desktop behavior set an unused remote key to emulate virtual mouse left click. I chose "Select (held)" and assigned it to virtual mouse, left double click. Single click wasn't always working for some reason.

Not a solution per se but a work around that doesn't require physical keyboard or mouse to be involved. Once Hulu loads up I press and hold the select key on my remote for about 2 seconds and after the left clicks are emulated all is well.
