High CPU load with RB 1.26

Hi,

After updating to remote buddy 1.26, I have constant high CPU load on the mac mini (10.10) I use as a htpc.
RB sits at constant 100%.

Anyone else having the same?

Exact same issue here. Updated my HTPC to Yosemite this evening and now RB CPU usage is constantly >100%.

I'm not entirely sure if it started happening around 00:00 CEST o'clock, but I feel like it did.

Thanks for your feedback!

I've also been noticing this issue - and it seems to have started at midnight here as well. I can reproduce it on all test systems, none of which has shown this issue before.

I'm still investigating this right now, but early analysis suggests that computation of a date for a timer goes wrong due to the daylight saving time. The timer then fires all the time (instead of once a day), causing 100% CPU load.

So chances are the issue will be gone in a few hours.

As a temp solution, set the date 1 day forward. Instantly fixes the issue.

Verified: the reason in fact is an issue with time calculation in Apple's NSCalendar class in the time between 0am and 1am.

Your CPU use should drop back to normal levels at 1am.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused!

I did have the problem yesterday night - however, now after Daylight Saving ended it all seems fine. Will keep looking.
Btw - HUGELY impressed with the response from Felix. Nice to see a company that monitors and reacts to user forums!! Keep up the good work.
