My Mac does not fall asleep after installing of candelair 1.32 coming with version 1.30.5 of the RemotBuddy. Has anyone noticed? Is there a solution?

Yes - I confirm - the same experience! After the upgrade, Mac does not switch to sleep mode. Please correct!

Thanks. I've tried to reproduce the issue, but so far have not succeeded.

I therefore need more info:

1) With which macOS version does this issue occur for you?

2) With which Mac model does this issue occur for you?

3) How do you try to put your system to sleep? F.ex. manually - or using the built-in macOS Energy Saver sleep timeout?

Thanks in advance.

I could track down the issue to the new CandelairUIAgent helper tool in version 1.32 and addressed the issue in Remote Buddy 1.30.6 and Candelair 1.32.1.

Since no changes were necessary to the driver itself, the driver still ships as version 1.32.

To install the newer version of the CandelairUIAgent helper tool, please follow these instructions A or B (depending on how you installed the driver):

A: Using the Candelair preferences pane

1) Click "Check for updates" and update to the latest version
2) After updating, click "Uninstall" to remove the driver and the old version of the CandelairUIAgent helper tool
3) Reboot
4) Install the driver again by clicking "Install"

B: Using Remote Buddy's Setup Wizard

1) Click "Check for updates" and update to the latest version
2) After updating, open the "Setup Wizard"
3) Use the "Install" option to re-install the driver. This will also replace the old version of the CandelairUIAgent helper tool.
4) Reboot
