Some suggestions...

Hey there and thanks for developing such a good piece of software. I am soon going to pay the license fee but before i want to know if it's possible for you to add two features which I think can be easily implented.

1. channel_up and channel_down functions for EyeTV by holding down specific buttons
2. Functions for jumping back and forth in a movie which is watched with VLC

I would be perfectly happy if these ideas get some developer love ;-)

Best regards,

Sascha

I'll find a solution that implements this.

VLC makes it difficult to add this in a "clean" way. Yet, I have an
idea and will look into it. I put it on the ToDo-list for now.

This is an awesome application Felix! Thanks!
I think that the EyeTV channel_up, channel_down should be accessed by tapping the plus and minus keys respectively (right now assigned to volume changes.) Changing the volume could then be reassigned to "hold plus" and "hold minus."

I think I tend to change the channel much more often than changing the volume, and it seems to me that the forward/reverse keys shouldn't be messed with because they work intuitively with EyeTV.

I may try to figure out how to implement this with your source code but I am very short on time these days...
