thanks for posting.
It's the default behaviour of Remote Buddy to always automatically
select the right behaviour for the frontmost app. Or, if it doesn't
have one for the active (usually the frontmost) app, select the right
one for the applications running in the background (i.e. player apps).
So, unless you explicitely activate a specific behaviour, Remote
Buddy should just work as you describe. If you do explicitely
activate a behaviour, this one will stick though, no matter what app
becomes active. To deactivate this and return to the auto-mode, just
press the menu button and use "Deactivate behaviour". The menu
disappears. If you press the menu button the next time you should see
that it has chosen the respectively best fitting behaviour.
If this shouldn't help, please let me know with which applications
you are having problems, what actions you are performing in Remote
Buddy's menu and how Remote Buddy's automatic choice differs from
what you'd expect.
