Remote Buddy and Front Row conflict

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I'm running the latest RC2 release on an Intel iMac running 10.4.9. My problem is that when my computer is first started and Remote Buddy has loaded, Front Row is also responding to my Apple Remote keypresses. For instance, I'll be watching EyeTV and will press the Menu button - the Remote Buddy menu will pop up but Front Row will also be activated. Left and right keypresses will increase BOTH EyeTV and system volume.

Am I missing something here? If I quite Remote Buddy and restart it this behaviour stops and I can use it, without the Apple Remote doing what it normally does as well.
