Hello there, Hello Felix,

after reading for a while and thinking about a solution for my task I now have a few questions before starting with RB.

I am using the MM as a MediaCenter only (FrontRow, EyeTV and so on). What really annoys me is that I cannot use the Teletext function of the EyeTV SW. (Of cource I can use it with the keyboard. But I don't like to grab the keyboard for that purpose. I only want the RemoteControl)
That's the moment, RB comes into the game.

To add the 10 digit-keys and the activation key for Teletext (CMD-T) to the Harmony I want to follow this very good tutorial:

http://funwithcomputers.wordpress.com/2008/03/01/using-the-harmony-880-remote-with-your-macs-built-in-ir-port/

BUT ..... (and now the questions):

1) Until now the RC (Harmony) sends the correct commands to simulate the Apple Remote and everything works fine. I want to leave these keys untouched and only want to map the new learned keys with RB. Does RB transfers these original AR-signals untouched ? Or do I have to map them too ?

2) I have read several threads about not-waking-up or not-getting-to-sleep issues. How does RB handle this ? As far as I know, the AR changes the signal when a key is pressed for a longer time and then sends "last-key-is-pressed-longer". Can RB handle this ? Are there open issues ?

Thanks in advance
Andree
