Disable remote buddy in certain applications?

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Is there a way to disable remote buddy in certain applications? Some of the applications I use, for example PLEX, already have good remote support, and it is neither necessary or desirable to have Remote Buddy controlling the remote in these applications. In fact, with the initial config, remote buddy actually made the remote work LESS well in plea- having the hold up and hold down buttons mapped to system volume up and system volume down made it impossible to scroll through long lists. PLEX already controls the system volume just fine, shaving these mappings was also redundant. I was able to work around this issue by tweaking the settings for PLEX, but it would be preferable to simple disable Remote Buddy while in PLEX. Thanks.
